Description
The protection relay DIGISAVE RD is primarily used to protect isolated or compensated neutral point lines and transformers in medium voltage networks and for wind power generators and mains tie-point, and also possesses all the functions of a simple busbar protector (reverse interlocking).
DIGISAVE RD possesses a number of functions and features that enable it to respond appropriately to the requirements of our customers' systems and power networks. For example, the fact that connections can be made using a plug-in socket, plus the patented extended wattmetric method for the rapid and reliable detection of earth faults.
Freely parameterisable LEDs and a four-line screen displaying intelligible messages make it possible to clearly and easily convey the status values of the various processes, enabling operators to always be alert to the equipment's current and foregoing states. Protection parameters are set up in the simplest possible way - on the protection relay itself, using a single turn-and-press knob and with menu guidance. Naturally you can also use the operating program DIGICOM to set up the parameters.
DIGISAVE RD meets the high standard expected of "swiss made quality" and fulfils all the homologation tests specified in IEC 60255.
